Bernat Vivancos commence l’étude de la musique avec son père, organiste de profession, puis se forme à la célèbre Maîtrise de Montserrat, où il étudie également le piano, le violon et l’orgue, sous la direction du Père Ireneu Segarra. La pratique permanente du chant, indispensable pour la bonne formation de tout musicien, est d’une grande importance pour son avenir musical. De retour à Barcelone, il se consacre à l’étude du piano avec Maria Canals et Raquel Millàs à l’École de musique Ars Nova de Barcelone, et obtient le Premier Prix et le Diplôme de Formation Supérieure du Conservatoire de Barcelone. Il donne de nombreux concerts et remporte plusieurs prix internationaux (Barcelona, Salerno, Athènes…), et effectue des enregistrements pour des émissions à la radio et à la télévision. Parallèlement, il étudie le violon avec Eva Graubin et joue dans plusieurs orchestres. En 1997, il est nommé Maître de Chapelle à la Cathédrale de Manresa et organiste titulaire du Sanctuaire de Notre-Dame des Anges de Barcelone. Toujours très intéressé par la création musicale, il travaille la composition avec David Padrós. |

Bernat Vivancos began his music studies with his father, an organist, and then continued with the famed Maltrise of Montserrat, where he studied piano, violin and organ with Father Ireneu Segarra. Singing, indispensable for all good musicians, has been of great importance in his career. Returning to Barcelona, Vivancos studied piano with Maria Canals and Raquel Millàs at the Ars Nova Music School, graduating with a first degree from the Conservatory of Barcelona. He has given numerous concerts and has been awarded a number of international awards in Barcelona, Salerno and Athens, and has performed for radio and television broadcasting. At the same time he continued studying violin with Eva Graubin and performing with various orchestras. In 1997 he was nominated Chapel Master of the Manresa Cathedral and head organist of the Notre Dame of the Angels sanctuary in Barcelona. Always interested in writing music, Vivancos studied composition with David Padrós. |
